A marital dissolution agreement is a contract between divorcing parties that divides the couple’s real and personal property, debts, and any other assets the couple has such as vehicles, investments, and bank accounts.
This agreement will also address other matters such as transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony, alimony in solido, and the payment of fees and costs.
Before a divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences can be awarded, this document must be submitted to the court.
